Take things like this personally, one will end up forgetting what is right - and focus on attacking the other ideology without regard for their true friends.

"An enemy's enemy is definitely not my enemy, because your new ally will most definitely come bite you in the bubblegum."
Many recent conflicts have shown this to be true. (Afghan, Iraq - but don't judge my opinion on those wars, as I'm not necessarily opposed to setting things straight, let's put it that way.) That's just the US, speak of the compromises for Nazi Germany and Great Britain during WW2, and how the Middle East is still a mess from it.
That's all I've got to say about that.
