I have posted a classified add with the price in the thread title.
Now I would like to change the price in the title but cannot do it.
Does anyone know if this can be done and how?

Send a PM to a Mod with the title you want...and we can fix it for you.
When you post a classified ad , you have 5 minutes to change the title , otherwise , it can only be changed by a Mod.

The main issue with title changing (or constant changing) is the way that the site is indexed for searches. If I'm remembering correctly.

The window of changing a title by the OP is there to help reduce potential issues. As always if there is an issue and something was spaced or forgotten, please mark and any mod will be glad to modify.

Thank you to everyone that replied.
I should have read the instructions about not putting the price in the title.
I have always done it and I have never run into a problem, even on this site.
(But things change and life generally becomes more complicated with time.)

How do you change a title of a thread that is NOT a classified ad?

Do you still have to contact a moderator?

Previously I made a new thread in the legal section and screwed up my title a tiny bit and I was able to correct it by myself at the time.

You will have to contact a Mod.
Like the classifieds you have 5 minutes to after posting to edit a title.
PM a Mod with the changes you want done to the thread title and one of us will be happy to fix it for you.
