Oregon How can a CHL holder be identified on their Oregon Drivers License?

I don’t disclose any of that information. If asked “Are you carrying?” I simply respond “I don’t have it on me today.” That’s whether I am carrying or not.

The only time I am going to voluntarily release that info is if I am being searched.

I am almost certain that an officer looked at the DL and asked if I was carrying. But maybe tied to the license plate?

Every cop car has a computer and once they check your license plate they know you have a chl. It has been that way for years.

You mean they might know the registered owner has one, right? Not neccessary the driver until they do an ID check.

That is correct, however when the registered owner and driver of a vehicle don't match that does bring up another line of questions.

Questions that a person may decline to answer, but that is getting off track from my point that a license plate check alone doesn't substantiate anything. And I don't know that assuming all cop cars in the entire state of Oregon have computers is accurate, either. And do tribal police have access to all that stuff too?
