We were denied Paypal Credit because we don't have "enough recent credit history" because I have not had a credit card since 2007ish, and we have basically lived within our apparently modest means. On the other hand, if we are to move to say, Wyoming, or South Carolina, or anywhere whose costs of living is far lower than Oregon's... we won't have any reduction in SS but I don't know. Educational quality is the problem. The cheapest States tend to have lower educational standards and even smaller Deaf communities :( Colorado and Texas are two places we are looking at in a few years, although cost of living in both these States are about as stupid as Oregon (specifically DFW/Houston/Austin areas)... the educational opportunities and the larger Deaf communities in them are pushing us to consider them. Yeah Colorado's turning bluer but if we can help keep it purple/red, thats better than abandoning it to the Californians, right? Ditto for Texas although it seems way more red than blue even with the blueing of the large cities there.

You guys should see what Rent costs in the bay area! Bro pays $2400 for a Studio 1 1/2 drive drive from work, bits a chithole in a kinda ok area, bit it's still not even close to being "In" the bay area! Gas went up over $5.00 a gallon last weekend, and food costs are up!

There is no real equity in becoming a star. Think of the beauty-challenged individuals looking to be stars?

"That's NOT fair."

But....I suspect that "OnlyFans" might have something to do with that industry. And......it's more or less.....

"To each his own."

If/When it comes to beauty or kink.

Hummm....maybe I have a chance at a 2nd career?

Aloha, Mark

1/3 to 1/2 of 18 to 50-year-old women are doing adult cam work. where did that figure come from?
Out of my butt... however...
"Use of OnlyFans exploded during the pandemic, going from 7.5 million users last November to 85 million now."
From

And that's just one platform. There's Fansly, Patreon, CamSoda, Chaturbate, PornHub, Twitter....

Edit. Theres also another article that says a full third of full time employed adults are also doing "side gigs" (YT, and other things in addition to the above)

Japan has a really big industry in that sort of thing.

Try keyword: "Meshida"

He is a Japanese Comedian/Commentator. He sort of explains that section of Japanese Culture and Industry, as it pertains to Japan, and the appeal that it has worldwide. With or without the blurs.

Aloha, Mark

PS....how does this relate to the unemployed?
Well....there are plenty of housewives who are now considered to be AV Stars.

Ok I lost my job of 16 years last June.( business closed). as of today I have 67 apps out, only 4 interviews. 2 months age one at caterpillar in airway heights, indeed said well over 200 apps for the same job.this same job is still in indeed, worksource, monster, zip recruiter. keep in mind this was 2 months ago. Tell me they couldn't find 1 person out of that 200+? Probably got 600 more in the next 2 months.Spokane hardware also, about the same time as cat, they told me at interview I was number 67. It also still in job sites. When indeed says there are 150 new jobs in Spokane most are repeats. There are a lot of job postings but very few hiring. I have had 4 jobs in the last 30 years, same company twice. I have an impeccable work history and still unemployed. So around Spokane , no one seems to be hiring ( descent jobs) I have work search history to prove it. Google why all the jobs but nobody hires. The liberals are probably paying companies to post jobs to make it look like economy look better. Add autonation to the list, week after week on the job sites.also I was not asked if I was vaccinated, nor was it a requirement on any job I applied for so covid has nothing to do with it.

6am this morning, I-5 southbound a parking lot.
What's everyone up to?
Haven't they heard about the pandemic?
Maybe all of these people are headed to the ER to check themselves in for COVID?
Maybe they're trying to get to one of the COVID death funerals?

There was probably a sale going on somewhere on $75,000 Ford Lariat Superduty King Ranch F-350's marked down from $100,000.
Pretty simple really.

I don't miss Seattle-area traffic. Wishing for an A-10 strike up and down -5 to recreate the Highway of Death three times a day was just too hard on my blood pressure.

Several times I've emailed the coordinates of downtown Seattle to Kim Jong Un and Xi JinPing.
I hope they got them.

When you shoot do you still wear ear pro?

Not trying to be rude or a smart azz, but when I read your post that's the 1st thing that popped in my mind.

And as to Colorado or Texas, CO is a dump, some beautiful scenery but Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming are all nice too and not so Yucky like Cuckarado.

Yes. My unassisted hearing threshhold is 90-100 decibels. Firearms tend to be a fair bit louder than that.

Texas and Colorado have both been ranked very high for Deaf education compared to Oregon, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho. Also, both Texas and Colorado have larger deaf communities than the other States mentioned. California, NY, MD, Illinois, all do have much larger Deaf communities, and seem to have highly rated Deaf schooling but we refuse to consider such places due to unacceptably high crime rates, terrible politics, and ridiculous costs of living. Arizona and NM were in consideration but they don't rank much better Deaf education-wise than Idaho and Montana.

I live in Colorado, near Divide/Woodland Park/Florissent and I can tell you, your much better off away from the bigger cities there then most any other areas. If you do end up in Colorado, let me know, I know some folks you will need to meet to help makes things a little better!
