Well the ETX stands for European Theater Xpansion...Just kidding...

Looking at the bullet design...it looks a lot like a European design...that round nose and all...
Maybe , its just using a bullet design and loading that is more suited to a European market , rather than American "tastes" in ballistics and design....Just guessing here...
What do I know...? It ain't got powder , patch and ball , nor ramrod....

Well here is their answer. Still seems kind of strange.

Not subsonic at 2376ft per second (the listing is for meters/sec -- divide by 3ish), however it is kinda anemic for 308 and 30-06; perhaps there are horsepower restrictions in Europe on their ammo?
