It is a tax increase to subsidies the less fortunate and with this increase the government just made more less fortunate.
A tax credit to offset the costs for health benefits should be a good thing, it's the private sector taking care of its self. A business in this situation can make better use of the money than the government.

Do you understand what you just wrote? Why should multi-billion dollar companies get huge tax breaks (which are paid for by us) to offset costs and increase bonuses and dividends? Why shouldn't they pay a fair share of the burden just like the little guy has to do? Why should we pay for exorbitant retirement plans for their employees?

And just how much will your personal taxes go up?

For a business owner PP, you are either naive, or just not telling the truth.
Huge tax breaks are made up when the companies involved hire more people due to expansion/reinvestment. That's what those tax breaks are tied to.
Huge tax increases are passed on to their customers in the form of higher prices. So the same working class people, with fewer of them employed, are now required to pay those taxes. But instead of them paying the government on April 15th, they pay those taxes when they buy the necessities of life.
Like food and electricity and fuel and clothing and shoes, and communications.
Come April 15th, the unemployed don't pay the government squat. No income-no income tax burden.

I don't need to drink your Kool-aide to know how it tastes. It tastes like the crap we all know it is.

You are absolutely wrong. If that was the case they would not be affected by this plan. They are not receiving these breaks for increased hiring or development. The money they are loosing was basically a free gift from the government given to them under the delusion/lie that they would "trickle it down." We all know how well that economic principle worked out for the average man.

You also do not understand business. You can only pass along so much cost to consumers or they will go to your competitor. That is why we have anti-monopoly laws. As long as one company does not pass on the cost they are limited. It is like when gas was super high and Delta doubled all their airfares one day (a day when I was booking a flight to Alabama). American and Continental were supposed to implement the same increases the same day. At the last minute Continental did not raise their fares and Delta had to scramble to lower theirs because of the massive loss in sales.
