If you're not sure if it's a L or XL, what waist size do you think it should fit if it's a bit big for you?

Where did you pay $100? I'd have snatched that right up from you but I'm about the same waist as you are.

I bought it online, I believe from Midway USA. I don't remember the exact total, but it was a little north of $100. I just checked and they list the 114 Cheyenne holster for 53.99 and the 110 Wyoming belt on sale for $46.60-57.99 (I'm assuming based on color and size) so about $100-112.

Nope, I checked and as I thought, the loops are too big to hold .357. Even if the cartridge rim catches just right the round is loose and will eventually fall out. FWIW
