I have looked into the HK94 clones and everything I have read is that Special Weapons versions need work to be reliable. The manufacturer also has changed names over time and might be Bobcat weapons too. I just heard a lot of bad things about the guy. Do I know them to be true? No. I have wanted an HK94 for a while now and still don't have one because of a lot of these comments on other forums. i would say test fire every magazine with as many rounds as you can. No test drive, would be no sale in my opinion because of the rumored unreliability of the product. Fortunately most guns will run fine out of the box and don't require proof of reliability.

I have an SP89k that bought new that runs great. I have also heard they are hit and miss. Mine has all HK internals and it likes hot ammo.
