My grandpa who was in WWII had one of those. He didn't say how he got it and i didn't ask. He passed away last year unfortunately.

Very nice, document the story of your Grandfathers Military Service; when, where and with what unit he served with. If he acquired the HY Knife while in the service, it would make a great story to attached to the Knife for the future or those interested in it for purchase.
