As reported by Fox News this Morning:

As the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi was unfolding, a high-ranking Pentagon official urgently messaged Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s top deputies to offer military help, according to an email obtained by Judicial Watch.

The revelation appears to contradict testimony Defense Secretary Leon Panetta gave lawmakers in 2013, when he said there was no time to get forces to the scene in Libya, where four Americans were killed, including U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens.

“I just tried you on the phone but you were all in with S [apparent reference to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton],” reads the email, from Panetta’s chief of staff Jeremy Bash. “After consulting with General Dempsey, General Ham and the Joint Staff, we have identified the forces that could move to Benghazi. They are spinning up as we speak.”

The email was sent out at 7:19 p.m. ET on Sept. 11, 2012, in the early stages of the eight-hour siege that also claimed the lives of Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith and two former Navy SEALs, Ty Woods and Glen Doherty, private CIA contractors who raced to the aid of embattled State Department workers.

Although the email came after the first wave of the attack at the consulate, it occurred before a mortar strike on the CIA annex killed Woods and Doherty.

“This leaves no doubt military assets were offered and ready to go, and awaiting State Department signoff, which did not come,” Judicial Watch, a nonprofit government watchdog said in a statement.

Parts of the email from Bash were redacted before release, including details on what military forces were available.
In defending the Obama administration’s lack of a military response to the attack, Panetta told the Senate Armed Services Committee nearly two years ago that “time, distance, the lack of an adequate warning, events that moved very quickly on the ground prevented a more immediate response.”

The first assault occurred at the consulate at 3:40 p.m. ET. The second attack on the CIA annex a little over a mile away began three hours later. Bash’s email was sent approximately 40 minutes after that attack began.
Bash’s email, which bore the subject line “Libya,” was sent to Clinton’s then-deputy chief of staff Jacob Sullivan, Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman and Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Thomas Nides.

The attack came in three waves at two locations. It began when a handful of attackers scaled the wall of the diplomatic post at dusk and opened a gate, allowing dozens of armed men inside who then set the building on fire. Stevens and Smith died after breathing in smoke while hiding in a safe room, and later died.

Hours later, a nearby CIA annex was attacked twice. Woods and Doherty died there while defending the annex from the rooftop. A team of six security officials summoned from Tripoli and a Libyan military unit helped evacuate the remaining U.S. personnel who were taken to an airport and flown out of Benghazi.

The Obama administration later falsely claimed that the attack was triggered by an Internet video that insulted Islam.
Lawmakers investigating the events surrounding Benghazi already had acquired the e-mail, along with tens of thousands of others related to the probe, according to Matt Wolking, spokesman for the House Select Committee on Benghazi.
“The Select Committee has obtained and reviewed tens of thousands of documents in the course of its thorough, fact-centered investigation into the Benghazi terrorist attacks, and this information will be detailed in the final report the Committee hopes to release within the next few months," Wolking told FoxNews.com.

"While the Committee does not rush to release or comment on every document it uncovers, I can confirm that we obtained the unredacted version of this email last year, in addition to Jake Sullivan’s response."

Well, seems more lies and untruths, spoken by the former Secretary of State, under oath... Wouldn't that be perjury???

And somehow, the Democratic Party holds her as their top candidate for the Oval Office... She should be in jail for Ambassador Steven's death....

Uh, why should we care about Ambassador Anderson (or is it Stevens?)? He was just another member of the ruling class, just another fixer for the corporate oligarchs. He didn't care about us.

Let's face it, Benghazi is just something for whacking Hitlery. Not to say that's a bad thing, but that's all it is.

I grew up in the same town Tyrone Woods is from and went to school with some of his relatives. It's personal for me. And, yes, we should care that a US embassy can be overrun.

No, this is not just something to whack Hillary with, though it once again demonstrates her lack of competence in the world stage as well as her propensity for lies.

Anybody who thinks she is ready to lead this country is smoking crack.

We should care because he wasn an American, murdered by a bunch of savages in some dirty hell hole, who was under the command of Hillary and Barrack Obama, along with three other Americans. We should care because the Obama administration viewed those people as expendable. Obama couldn't be bothered to do his duty as Commander in Chief. Hillary couldn't be bothered do her duty as Secretary of State. Americans died because of their inaction.

Actually, it's about the web of lies and deceit this administration and it's appointees have perpetrated, even under Oath...

You or I try that and see what happens.

Hillary used him as a pawn and cost him his life.... I think his children deserve better than that, don't you?

We should all care when our government is willing to sacrifice there own because they don't want to be in a war. They only care about themselves and that is never a good thing.

It's all politics. With various forces and FAST teams in the med and gulf..., There had to have been someone who could have easily gotten there in time. The political CYA was disgusting. I just hope DoS and the administration learned their lessons.

Sorry, I still don't think the Ambassador was any kind of friend to patriots. I have a lot more sympathy for the others who died.

BTW I spent some time in Benghazi back in 1980, doing computer work for an oil company. It's all about oil, and which crony gets to control it.

I still believe, JMHO that the ambassador was left to die intentionally to cover the present administrations azz for illegal weapons running to the rebels. No proof, just my personal feelings. Beotch should be in prison.

I just wonder what was so important in that CIA annex besides the people guarding it?
What types of weapons and how many were stored there and how many were left when they went back to check after the smoke cleared????

They still lied to cover it up !!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad:

We should care because some corrupt lesbian hack pretending to be a govt official getting wicked rich off a bogus charoty left Americans to be killed by terrorist on a mission we set them to do and then we left them to be murdered downrange with no support.

We could have saved them, they were heroes who didn't have to die.
This country treats the evil of this world better than our counties heroes .

I think there's more proof than we realize.
Not that we'll ever see it if hillary gets elected.

And now those weapons are being used by ISIS, against us and the rest of humanity.

In the line of succession, the SoS is the 4th most powerful person in the U.S.
Furthermore, if the SoS tells the joint chiefs that a military op will jeopardize diplomacy, the .mil will back off.
We've had a "diplomacy first" policy for decades.

The security may have been the result of bungling. Those idiots in D.C. probably still don't understand the significance of the date Sept 11 to radical muslims.
But the cover-ups, that was PURE deceit. Both the cover-up of the fiasco, and the cover-up of the consulate/diplomatic mission's true nature.
    Which was gun-running.
