This old Dura-matic had seen some better days. Came in for a little tlc awhile back. Needed some new springs and a new ejector.
Little rust removal ( allot of rust removal in spots). And hot blue.
Used 220 grit to remove the rust on the barrel and slide. Then worked up to 600 grit which matches the factory finish. All while maintaining the factory edges and engraving. Don't want to have any rounded over corners.
Bead blasted the frame assembly and top of the rear slide, carefully taped off the polished sides of the slide. Then a trip thru the hot blue tank.
