Hiding closed ads when searching classified threads.

How do I hide closed ads when searching for a specific type of item in classifieds? I see the "hide closed ads" box when viewing the entire thread but when you use the search function, that "hide closed ads" box appears to be unavailable.

No, unfortunately.

The new website should have appropriate filters tho, is my understanding.

Thank you. It makes for a tedious search of older ads with out that filter. Then there is the issue of ad threads members don't close properly which defeats the "hide closed ads" filter anyways.
