Good luck and best wishes in your new surroundings! Denver-metro area sux in more ways than weather- I live in a conservative enclave in southern Colorado, where it rarely snows and it never lasts for long! Colorado going all "blue-state" has me thinking about moving out but cannot decide where would be any better. The Old Woman wants to move back to her native Florida to be around her kids and grands.. in some ways Fla has some "draw" but the heat & humidity would kill me off... Again, best wishes!

I used to spend time down by Lamar, CO fishing at John Martin Reservoir. Whole other world from Denver

Welcome, I'm actually on TDY in OryGun from just south west of Divide Co. We actually get less snow then Denver, but it lasts a heck of a lot longer! Lol.
Spent a year and a half down in the springs, loved it, but it's gone sideways with all the blue and city campers! Sad days for the State!

I moved out of good'ol Colorado about 35 years ago. Lived between Denver and Greeley in a little po-dunk city that nobody has ever heard of.

Oregon is a great place!
