Former military, living and working in the JBLM area. Interested in finding safe places to shoot pistol and rifle, maybe a little shotgun too. Looking to learn more about gunsmithing, although I am pretty convinced that the trade cannot be learned online. Mostly into military-type weapons, both old and new. I try to avoid politics, but given the current state of things I accept that can be challenging to say the least. I look forward to learning more about guns and shooting - pretty straightforward I guess.

Yes, I think 'gun-fixer' would be more appropriate. Right now I am at the level of parts-swapping, and even then I need adult supervision for many tasks. I looked at online options with a few US-based schools, but why pay when you can get the same quality of instruction on YouTube for free? Anyway, that's my impression.

We can now. Range 15 is the place, although weekends can get pretty crowded.
