i have a hessr h91 for sale or trade. It is not a brand new rifle. I traded a couple of years ago into this and it has been a good starting rifle. It has been shot and is dependable but it eats brass and i reload most of my own ammo. I have used it as truck gun and when I lived in Medford it was my security tool. Therre has been at least one owner before me. I took the good scope off and put a cheaper scope on it. I have other rifles I am more interested in. If i did not have other tools I woild have no problem grabbing this in a bad situation.

I woild trade this for a lower end AR that my wife could handle. I am not into polymer. A good smith or even a mauser based hunting rifle.

I figure trade value is around 650$.selling price would be about the same. I am negotiable on this.

CETME's usually will eat brass due to the rollers, that's normal. Supposedly you can clean a reasonable percentage of brass up, provided they don't get dented during cycling.

Does your rifle dent most of them?

-Also how difficult is it to charge, i.e. can an average person charge it from the standing ready position?

i think it would be a bit much for my wife to chamber a round if that is what your asking They have large bolts.I think an average person would have no issue charging it but it is not a light rifle compares in weight to my fal carbine.

I ask about charging as we have one which I cannot charge from standing (likely needs slightly upsized rollers), I need to set it on the ground for leverage.

We've another which I can charge from standing no problem.

i do not have that issue. I charge it from standing position.
