Hey all,

I need a little guidance. I am picking up an Adams arms complete piston upper, and want to swap out the standard M4 handguard for a Daniel Defense Omega rail. I've seen that they sell the upper with a quad rail already installed, so I know it's possible, but I'm trying to figure out WHICH rail would work.

I've seen they make a "piston Omega rail", but will the standard Omega rail or Omega X rail fit a piston upper? I'd personally prefer the Omega X rail (7" carbine version), but I want to know if it will work without modification. What makes it more confusing is I've seen sites selling the "piston" version and listing the same part number as what is usually used for the standard version, which makes no mention of piston compatibility.

Does anyone have any experience here? Please help....
