help with my remington 870.

i have a Remington 870 express magnum with a 25 inch barrel and i want to know if i can throw a Remington 870 Express 12 Gauge 3" 18-1/2" barrel on it and still use 3 inch magnum slugs and stuff. then an extension tube to hold more ammo. any ideas?

What is the best way to flatten the dimple if there is one?

Id use a round or half round metal file and pay attention to where the shavings are going.
