Help with Kilo 2400 ABS

370 yards. What am I doing wrong?

fresh battery?
lens clean?
hard target?
mode?

I have a 1200 that's pretty good but does NOT like rain/fog or even leaves/ferns past about 600.

Well crap. Has it been dropped? The laser can get out of alignment and off center from the lens so as the laser spreads over distance it can't be 'seen' by the collecting sensor. It may need to be sent in for service.

It is almost new. Never dropped or damaged in any way.

What conditions are you ranging in? It's been pretty foggy in the valley lately. Rangefinders do not like moisture in the air.

Clear/ overcast. I sent it back to Sig. They had me check my settings and decided it needed repaired or replaced.
