I've always fished later in the the year upstream around drift creek. I would really like to go out with the old man next week and try closer to the bar (not going to get to close to the bar, that thing is dangerous as hell. Was thinking just past the bridge where everyone crabs) I was hoping someone could give me some advice on where, and what type of setup. Are guys still running plug cuts and drop weight? Thanks in advance :)

Incoming tide cut plug with 12-14 oz drop weight no flasher with the latest rain they should be there. If you can go on a weekday it will be less stressful on the weekends there could be 20-30 boats there .The past few years it has not really been hot but from the ocean salmon I have been doing things are looking up . Be safe and have a good time
