Help with AR build

Hey everyone I am looking for an upper to put on my Yankee hill lower receiver. and I found one made by JSE surplus. The thing is I don't know much about this company so any input or experience you guys have had dealing with them would be great. here are the specs on the upper I want to purchase from them Thanks.


Complete AR-15 Upper Receiver with a 16" Nitride Coated M4 barrel, "F" front sight. Features an A3 flat top upper receiver with "T" marked rails, dust cover, brass deflector, and forward assist. CAR-15 handguards and "F" marked front sight base with bayonet lug. No rear sight included. 5.56 NATO chambered government profile 16" barrel with A2 flash hider, 1x7" twist, M4 feed ramps, M4 notch. What will your AR be used for?

Mostly just weekend shooting 200-300 rounds a week. But I would like it to be a little more accurate then just a stock AR.

If you want more accuracy, then I'd go with a barrel longer than 16"....

I have bought a lot things from JSE and found them to be really good.

So maybe a 20" barrel then. I am going to put a Yankee hill diamond series free float quad rail system on it to help with accuracy.

Yes, a longer barrel will help with better accuracy...just make sure its a nice quality barrel at that.

how do you tell a low quality barrel from a high quality one, besides the price.
