Job Title: Roadside Assistance Technician
Job Duties:
Operate a company vehicle for all jobs
Provide emergency roadside assistance services including (but not limited to) jump starts, tire changes, out-of-gas service, and vehicle unlocks plus battery & charging system testing, and automotive battery sales & installation
Candidates must have a clean DMV record and pass a background check and drug screen, and must be at least 21 to be insured.
Candidates must be able to stand, sit, or bend for extended periods of time
Candidates must be able to lift and carry upto 75lbs
Candidates must be able to safely operate supplied vehicle in varied traffic, weather, and lighting conditions
Candidates must be able to utilize modern communication devices - IE smart phones and tablets and must have a personal cell phone (company will provide a reimbursement benefit monthly for this)
Candidates must have good customer service skills - automotive, mechanical, and professional driving experience is not necessary - we provide paid on the job training.
Benefits:
Health Insurance after 90 days for full time employees
AAA Plus membership after 90 days
Monthly cell phone reimbursement
Paid sick time and vacation after 1 year employment
Starting pay is $15-17 per hour depending on experience, with a performance eval after 90 days
This is a Full Time 40 hour per week job, swing shift. Expected Schedule Saturday thru Wednesday, 12PM to 9PM, subject to change
Candidates should be prepared to commit to a 4+ hour ride-along and interview as part of the pre-employment screening process - this will give the candidate a first hand look at the job and give us a chance to see if it's a fit for you, and if you're a fit for us. Candidate must pass a drug screen and background check upon conditional offer of employment.
