Definitely use a nylon punch!

I have several Glocks, always replaced the sights myself with no correct tool.
A couple have some marks, not that i care, but some might.

Just watch a youtube video, rear sights go in one way.

Awesome thanks for the help, all. Nylon punch on the way!
It's very important to check fitment first before committing to the install.
Here, Dave Dawson shows how to do that and how to prep (if necessary).
He uses an aluminum punch.

ETA:
Glock rear sights can go on from either left or right.
If you want to preserve your Trijicon graphics, drive from the opposite side.

I have the sight pusher tool. If you plan on doing multiple pistols, it easily recoups the cost compared to paying a smith to do it.

Got one that I've done about 5 sets of sights with for about $60 on opticsplanet.

A punch and a hammer for sight installation is 'less than ideal'
