A family member recently had me sort through their former spouse's firearm collection. I found this magazine which didn't belong to any gun in the collection. It appears to be for a 22LR. The family member had a vague recollection of another gun but couldn't find it or remember what it was...
Does anyone know where it belongs?

Can you post a better image, how long is it? Looks like a pistol of some sort and a strait vertical which should narrow it down quite a bit, especially as .22 Rimmed needs to stack in a taper, or as this mag looks, a funky guide pressed into it's sides to allow vertical stacking! First guess would be some sort of 1911 type conversion, or one of those Excel Arms .22's

Will need a few more pics (both sides, front, back), plus length and any markings. Look on the top of the floorplate where your little finger would rest. Some manufacturers stamped there.

Wow. That is some good detective work. I think we are on the right path, although so far I haven't seen a 100% match.

Here are some more pictures. 1911 mag for size comparison and I loaded a 22LR in the mystery mag A499FC9F-5CFF-4664-BF58-EED338A4DF00.jpeg 7520B849-66D5-4F64-9CED-5FE3D150A7C6.jpeg A870C521-53D9-4831-932A-5999E01956AF.jpeg EC95BF34-F6B3-4AD7-A108-3449E5E4AB98.jpeg
