I got that advice straight from John at 5Shot Leather--definitely don't use lubes or sprays as that will tend to soften the leather.
Just patience and work at it as stated above.

I agree with the above post. I have my CBOB wrapped in three freezer bags inserted in the holster and will wear it whenever possible and practice multiple presentations. Jim at Milt Sparks said the Axiom's in particular require a little more time to break in than their other holsters because of the loops that retain the holster.

For a note to others, he said DO NOT use silicone, oil, or other lubricants or softeners to break the holster in. I will post results of my break in success or lack thereof.

I must confess, I feel like kind of a Dork walking around the house with a 1911 in three freezer bags in holster, but hopefully the end will justify the means. :s0114:
