Greetings everyone. My name is Angie and I currently reside in the socialist state of California, but have been working on moving to the Whitefish, Kalispell, MT area for 6 years. As soon as our ranch here sells, we will be headed North. Businesses, one kid and a couple of vehicles are already there I grew up in Oregon, but have lived in CA for the past 25 years.

I currently have a .38 revolver and a .22 Hi-Standard Military. I've taken a beginning shooting course twice and am getting ready to take an intermediate course as soon as my extra magazines arrive from Hi-Standard. I'd like to get something with a higher caliber (I hate shooting the .38) and have shot both the 9mm and .40, but at different times. I'm headed to the indoor range next week and hope to rent both so I can shoot them side by side and see which I like best. I'm going to wait until we move to purchase, but I want to at least know what I want.

I teach Middle School, have been married for 22 years and have a daughter at UM and a son that is a jr. in high school. I really joined this site because I want to find out about the rumor of ammunition starting to have an expiration date, and keep up on any other gun regulations.

It is a fun little gun. I am a pretty good shot with it, mostly because of that long barrel I decided on the 9mm after shooting them both together. I just don't have the hand/arm strength to shoot the .40 with any kind of accuracy.
