Thanks all. Turns out I have what they call a A. C. separation. My ligaments that hold the collarbone to my shoulder are torn. I am now looking at possible surgery and several months of physical therapy.

Best of luck with the shoulder injury. About 5 years ago I had to have my right shoulder put back together. Almost 4 hours of them putting in screws and anchors and moving muscles. Then the fun started!

Over SIX months of rehab therapy and almost a full year till I had about 90% strength back. The shoulder is a odd joint so be careful and get well soon.

Ouch! I feel for ya. I strained (not even tore, just strained) my right rotater cuff about 3 years ago moving a bunch of river rock. It still gives me trouble to this day.
