Did it get passed and signed already? I bought a Beretta 92FS and it was suppose to come with 3 (15) round magazine they replaced them with 10s. I'm assuming that is due to liability which I'm grateful they at least gave me something. But it begs to question. Did it get signed into law officially or are retailers prematurely doing this to be cautious so they don't get burned if or when it does get passed through. PSA said they won't send magazines more than 10 rounds I thought was just third party but now I'm starting to think it's their entire site.
Well that's annoying but not surprising. My platypus shipped with 10 round Glock mags but that's not really a big deal to me as I already owned dozens of 17+ rounders anyway.

Were I in your shoes, I'd just buy some locally cash and carry.

My TS arrived with 3 17 round magazines. I'm not sure what distributor my FFL uses but I wonder if that might be where the issue is.

This outfit appears to be shipping to Oregon.

When is the deadline for Oregon bills to move out of a committee for chance of being passed on the floor?

Edit: According to the Portland Tribune these are dates. It's unclear to me if HB 3075 falls under a category where deadlines can be broken?

April 9
Bills must move out of policy committees in the chamber of origin by that date and head to the other chamber. For instance, a school policy bill to teach the importance of newspapers (OK, we made that one up), which begins in the House Education Committee, needs to get approved and move on to the Senate Education Committee by that date.

May 23
The deadline for bills to make it out of the other chamber's policy committee.
Note: Some committees, like Rules, Revenue and the budget-writing Ways & Means, get to break the deadline rule.

It's getting so crazy in Oregon that Platypus are arming themselves ...... The Apocalypse is right around the corner . ;)

Not sure about majority, but a significant and ever-increasing percentage. Palmetto stopped about a month ago.
Not to mention a lot of private parties aren't interested in shipping to Oregon. A lot of people on the GAFS sub-reddit are extremely hesitant to send anything to Oregon now, I guess assuming them a lost cause. We're a lot closer to the details being that we live here but it seems like a lot of people living in other more free states consider us a ban state now based on what they see in the media. The damage is already starting to be done, I'm sure the anti-gunners consider that at least a notch in their belt.

Half the time members here on this forum can't agree on what's what with these pieces of legislation. I can imagine people in other States are even less clued in than we are.

I'm presently in conversation with a PA customer service guy. He doesn't understand why the purchase is unable to complete. He should talk to someone in his legal department.

I think gunmag wharehouse is still good to go for standard mags to Oregon here is their disclamer:

This product is subject to shipping restrictions and may not be permitted for shipment to Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Vermont, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, Rhode Island, District of Columbia, Washington due to state or local laws. For more details, please see our Shipping Restrictions Page. If you are a Law Enforcement Officer or Active Duty Military member and believe you qualify for an exemption, please consult our Large Capacity Exemptions Policy for more information on how to proceed.
gunmag warehouse is GTG. just received some goodies from them.

TMS and GMW are both still shipping to Oregon.

Bass Pro/Cabelas is selling most of their pistols with 10 round mags, even though it's still legal to sell them with standard capacity mags. And their prices on the guns I've been checking on lately are about 33% higher than the other LGS's iN town. So don't buy from them.

I've gotten great prices and great service from Mazama's. bubblegum Bass Pro/Cabela's for buying guns and mags. Ammo too. The only thing I buy from them is clothing when it's on clearance.

Mazama's saved me 33% on a 1500 dollar gun that I bought from them. The the price was actually more discounted than that. The 1911 I got was almost $1500 everywhere else and I got it for $956.00.

The gun I'm looking at now is $650 to $700 at Cabela's/Bass Pro. It Is $459 at Mazama's..

I posted this video over on the M114 thread but thought it will be helpful on this bill as well since there is some excellent wording here that we can use in our testimony and emails to legislators:

Key phrases like "repugnant to the constitution" can carry a punch if used correctly.

Is that on the state constitution track or federal? If federal judge Easterbrook will overturn it.

He's a bubblegumer.

I'm hearing again and again about how great Mazama's is. I used to avoid that place like the plague due to their high prices. I'll have to drop by there sometime since I haven't been there in several years. On the other hand, I've always been a fan of Cabela's, but surely did have trouble finding anything I wanted when I got a gift card for Christmas year before last and another gift card from a realtor who sold a property for me. I did buy a tumbler from them a couple of weeks ago, but that was mostly just using up the Cabela's Bucks I had built up on my credit card. If they're not running a sale, their stuff is STEEP. I think the merger with Bass Pro was a turning point - not for the better.

Lanbos is GTG if you guys havnt shopped there before, totally recommend. Just ignore the website from 2006 and make sure what you're ordering is warehouse fulfilled so you get the flat rate shipping.

Another ruling against 3 day waiting period in Maine. This is a preliminary injunction in the Maine case of Beckwith v Frey. It's in a US District Court so does have some authority. It's just preliminary but has some great points. Again, not a major win yet but some courts seem to be moving our way. Remember the language as you craft the testimony you intend to present and submit.

William Kirk again does a great job of explaining the major legal points:

ETA: The judge mentioned that the extent of the delay was unimportant. The fact that there was a delay in the first place was the infringement. Reminds me of the UCMJ line about "penetration, however slight"!
