The assault ban bill has failed so now is the time to focus on these other Washington State anti-gun bills.

HB 2477 would hold a person responsible if they sell a gun at a gun show to someone who would not have passed a NICS background check, and who subsequently uses that gun in a crime, especially if someone is injured or killed.

HB 2264 also deals with gun shows, and requires every transaction to go through a licensed dealer.

We don't have to worry about this in Oregon..............It's already a done deal....

Does that mean that only FFLs are selling at gun shows in Oregon?

Are private sales still allowed without a NICS check in Oregon?

You can sell a gun private citizen to private citizen, but a background check must be ran by a dealer.

FTF sales are still fine and do not require a background.

When Obama was elected the dems said they were going to leave gun control to the states. Keep voting for dems and you will get more gun control.

Private sales at gun shows must go through a FFL even deals in the parking lot, we can thank John McCain partly for that. FTF by private party's are still OK in general.....
