Most every 9mm and 40 sold in Oregon and Washington exceeds these limits.
And I would guess 90% of most rifles other then standard hunting rifles like Rem 700 etc will also exceed this. However a SKS with a 7.62x39 at 10 would meet this criteria and I can see these rifles going for a premium as well as the extended mags pre-law. Stripper clips are near as fast as a Ak-47 swap out, they just never learn its not the firearm that is bad its the people who commit the crimes as seen in this video its not capacity that does anything to increase its danger to society. This guys loads this SKS in normal standard time doesnt matter if it was 5rds.

The 10/22 is fine.

Unless its got a finding or collapsible stock
A pistol grip OR a THUMBHOLE
even a forward grip is banned

It'll be stock or nothing for the 10/23
The mags will be a no go.

There won't be any "preban" status.

If you have the mags, you can keep them... But any sale or transfer is s felony.

When the ban goes into effect, what you have is what you have.

This isn't like the '94 AWB

Problem is even with this hitting the news you can once again see Milspec, Century and even promag and tapco will become scarce again. Just wen stores and supplies are near normal this kinda BS makes prices rise and supplies dwindle. And then more and more buy more and more firearms and oh well you all get the picture.

Well, I figure most of us have a good supply... And the fact that they cannot be resold may keep the rush down...

Though I'm trying to upgrade to different mags at the moment, so this kinda sucks.

My lancers are already on backorder, I may not see them now. I'm not even sure what other states are in the same boat.

If its just us, there probably won't be too much of a run on mags.

I did notice at Christmas some of my supplies are backordered about the same time this came out and so did Obummer. I hope it stays calm as I am about where I need to be almost.

WHY ARE WE NOT ORGANIZING ONE RIGHT NOW?????????????????????????????????

I am in the process of contacting my local officials and I am pledging my support by attending any and all rallies in regards to these despicable oath breakers!!!
Folks we cannot be mute or meek with these unconstitutional attempts to ride us into the ground. They deserve the in your face responses for this atrocious act of cowardice!!!!:mad::mad:

I've been mailing the (R) members on the Judiciary committee since both 2354 and 2374 have been referred there. That - and your local reps - are where you should focus your efforts. If it can die in committee, that should quiet it for another year.

Then focus on taking Colorado's lead and getting those people recalled.

Yup.

Get that model 60 while you can!

Later on it details rimfires with fixed tube mags, but only exempts lever actions.

Technically a tube fed bolt action would be banned due to the 'large magazine'

then my Ruger lever action .22 WMR would be quite the powerful, still legal, piece.... except that I think it holds 12 in the tube..... sorry , fellas, if I have to stash it away till I move out of this insane state, I will, but YOO AIN"T GITTIN IT!!

So sad to hear the news, not that I can be surprised that a state that has become saturated with radical liberal fascists is going to attempt to destroy the freedoms and liberties of its residents. We all knew I-594 was just a little test of the waters. Once the fascists saw how easy it was to implement a gun background check, they decided to go full gung ho to wipe out gun ownership across the board and that is their ultimate goal. Washington and all other liberally saturated states are truly doomed. Banning guns and even imprisoning gun owners and punishing those who refuse to vote or support the liberal cause will be the ultimate goal of these tyrants.

Ironically, I went to Idaho last week to sign papers for house and will be moving to Idaho. I did this all without even knowing all the future gun control and other fascist legislation that was occurring at the time. However, now I can say I feel all too relieved seeing the insanity brewing in Washington state that I will be moving to Idaho. If these insane laws pass, I encourage everyone to pack up , stop giving your hard earn tax money to tyrants and move to Idaho along with me.

Washington is going to become a big cesspool and I won't be surprised if Seattle eventually turns into the new Detroit of America. Seattle, itself, is becoming a magnet to every left-wing , freedom hating, fascist nutjob.

Leaving gun laws aside, just wait to see how livable Washington will be, especially the Puget Sound, when they impose a 10% state income tax along with the 10% sales tax with the ever rising costs of living in the area, thanks to the huge import of wealthy people cashing out the housing market.

Sorry to disappoint you, Idaho is no paradise either. I lived in Wyoming for a couple of years for the same reasons you state, and found there a love of government even in the most conservative state in the nation. Example: Wyoming has more government employees per capita than any other state, possibly excepting Alaska. "It's not called socialism when conservatives do it."

I wouldn't throw the towel in with Washington yet. It's only real problem is that it isn't Oregon. ;)

You can only run and hide from this for so long. All 50 state Will be fighting for their 2nd amendment rights at some point. To think you are safe from it is dillusional.
Liberalism is a cancer and is spreading.

I actually decided to move to Idaho even before I found out about the gun control legislation. It had to do with me losing my job and wanting to live cheaper, while I spend the next year trying to start a business and doing some software development training from home to improve my resume.

Anyhow, I just happen by chance to decide to move to Idaho right before I even learned about this atrocious gun control legislation being brewed up in Olympia. Yes, Idaho is no paradise and the state is fairly high in taxation, which is ironic for being a red-state. The cheaper cost of living makes up for the higher taxes for now, but that can change. But, I do forsee with the influx of many fiscal conservatives, as well as social conservatives into the state, that Idaho may transform itself into a more fiscally red state as well, whereas now it is blue dog Republicanish on the fiscal side.

However, Idaho, as a whole seems much more pro-gun and doesn't have the ultra left-wing radical imports from places like San Francisco and New York which are too common in both Seattle and Portland. In fact, Idaho's gun laws have been getting better and better. The state of Idaho just legalized campus carry and now you can carry your gun on the campus of every Idaho state university and college with a valid concealed handgun license. Idaho also recognizes conceal handgun licenses from every state in the country. Yes, there are liberals, fascists and radicals in Idaho, but Idaho seems to attract many more conservative people and less of the crazy radical liberals. Even many liberals I meet in Idaho still support gun rights. Whereas, in Washington, I get the "OMG, Guns are killing the children", mentality quite frequently. Especially, in Seattle.

Boise is a booming town, we need more and more conservatives in a place where freedom is not lost. I'm not saying for Washingtonians to all immediately bail. I would have probably stayed and waited all this out, had I not lost my job and making a career change. However, if Washingtonians lose all their rights and with the ever increasing population of radical liberal fascists here, I would say for you to move to a place where your vote will go further and to give your hard earn tax money to support a state government that is not dominated by traitors and Constitution stompers.

Of course, I agree, no state will be paradise and every place will have problems. However, I think we need to also understand when a cause is lost and try to consolidate our votes in states where we know our votes will actually make a difference. I'm waiting to see what will happen with Washington and Oregon, but I have a bad feeling that the liberal radicalism in places like California and New York will soon also take control of Washington and Oregon. Seattle already has the most insane and radically leftist city council in the USA and seeing that Seattle calls the shots for the rest of the state, that is not a good sign.

Ironically, many states are swinging in the direction of becoming more pro-gun like Wisconsin, Michigan, Texas, Tennessee, even Illinois (of all places). Wouldn't that be ironic that conceal carry and AR-15s will be legal in Illinois but not in Washington? The scared liberals help destroy many places and then after seeing the aftermath decided to flee to other places, like Seattle and Portland, which they could destroy with their same idiot politics. However, with the loss of all these liberals from their home states, some of these places are actually healing.

Being a Northwest native, it pains me to see what is happening.

P.S.
Paul, sorry to hear Wyoming has become too liberal. Strangely, Wyoming seems to be one of the lowest taxed states and has some of the strongest gun rights and gun supporting government I have seen. Wasn't it Wyoming that imposed prosecuting federal agents for enforcing anti-2A laws in the state? Considering how rural the state of Wyoming is, the fact it has a large number of government jobs can be a bit misleading. Not everyone who works for government is necessarily a bad person. Working for the government and voting to have the government have more power in our personal lives and reduce our personal freedoms are two different issues.

Running can only get you so far.

We need to get active

Lets do this, Who can get this organized? I hate to say it but we need to start protesting like liberals. I know its harder for us do to the fact that conservatives work for their money and our schedules are not as forgiving, but we have to make this a priority now instead of waiting for this bill to pass before finally doing something.

Protests, Work/Labor Strikes, Voting (Many Republicans Don't Vote in WA for some dumb reason), Rallies, Letters, etc

I was moving to Idaho before I even heard this. However, the increased liberalism of this state left me with a bad taste in my mouth. A prime example, is the mindset of many gun owners, themselves. For example, the gun ranges in the Seattle area are very restrictive and the attitudes of many of the range board are that gun owners are the devil, which struck a very negative chord in me and made me refuse to join any of the local gun ranges who implement all types of gun control. Many conservatives in the Puget Sound have the capitulate and try to negotiate mindset with the radical fascist liberals here.

These liberals have a "take no prisoner" mindset and until many of conservatives here understand this concept, they won't know what type of field they are playing on.. Taking Mr. Seattlite shooting with you is going to be hard when the "Mind Control" party has been teaching him how gun owners butcher babies. Many people in Seattle are so polarizing and downright vicious when they feel you are challenging their political ideologies. For example, I was talking out loud on a phone that I supported Ted Cruz and this Seattle libtard d*uche sitting at Starbucks raised his middle finger to me.. I walked up to him and told him what I thought about him and he just sat their frozen (afraid of being slugged) and just gave me the look like I was Satan, himself.

I was surprised how many gun owners I met here voted Democrat last Presidential election. In fact, many gun owners voted Yes on I-594 thinking it would protect the "children" and that the liberals were sincere on the promise, "We Don't Want Your Guns".

After living in Washington for 3 years and Idaho for 1 year, I have come to the consensus that Idaho conservatives are way more vigilant in defending their rights and tend to not wheel and deal with liberals as much as here.

I apologize for being a naysayer or doomsdayer.. However, I have been disgruntled with the mindset in this state long before its proposed "Assault Weapon Ban". I have seen my home state of Oregon going down the tubes for years as more and more of these fascist immigrants come to "FIX" all the crazy locals with their "safe and rational gun and taxation laws". I'm not sure about it, but I think Olympia has more bums per capita than any other State Capitol in the USA. Seriously, the city uses WA state tax dollars to give these guys free room and board right in the downtown. They never seem short of weed, dope and booze. Many of the homeless I met walking down there don't ask me for change, they say, "Can you spare me a few dollars bro?"

Then, Seattle raised its minimum wage to $15/hr and now every naive liberal freeloader in the country thinks Seattle is the land of high paying jobs and easy living, where everyone becomes rich for merely flipping a burger patty. Not withstanding, Seattle is a sanctuary city and many businesses will employ machines, illegal immigrants (who cannot be deported in the city) or raise prices so high that nobody can afford anything, even middle class. Seriously, Seattle/Portland prices are becoming unbearable as Californians are cashing out and the communist city governments propose more wage increases and much higher taxes as the solution.

I don't know, maybe I am just disgruntled. Washington and Oregon are the most beautiful states in the lower 48 and it is a real shame to see these places go down the tubes. I just know the high concentration of radical liberals in our state government are going to wreck havoc. Also, a lot of Republicans in Washington and Oregon are the blue dog type and swing left many times if the Democrats promise union and other types of labor benefits.

Anyway, I am praying for the best..
