Provides that in prosecution for possession of firearm in building or on grounds subject to such policy, ordinance or regulation, concealed handgun licensee affirmative defense is not complete defense, but results in Class A misdemeanor conviction punishable by 364 days' imprisonment, $6,250 fine, or both.

Make no mistake, they will call a public restroom a "public building" and "adjacent grounds" the entire city park just to ban you from sharing their space.

This is one of the bills that will make Oregon a patchwork quilt of no carry zones that will be impossible to navigate. You could lieerally pull over to make a phone call and be arrested for carrying in a prohibited zone. Like @JeremyK said, this will pass unless people take the time to call and write the legislators.

It's been referred to the house judiciary committee and this is a good place to start with emails and phone calls.
