It should say,

"This act is necessary to blame guns so as to divert attention from the fact that we socialist leaders have created more crime and violent criminals on the street through our revolving door, criminal protections, and defund police policies"

That sucks. Anybody getting the permit will be on their register for the current-law mandatory yearly background checks and any future gun laws they come up with. Sucks! Buy before the permit process becomes law is what I would say. Once they have that, it's gonna be tough. Registration leads to confiscation.

I will say if i have to go to the point of getting a Gun ownership/Purchase permit i should be able to own any firearm i would like if i have the funds to purchase it. I have m CPL and carry, I support some aspects of good gun control but not what they are currently trying to do. Everyone should train and understand guns and the criminals as we know will always get things how they have.

Oh my, the loony left sure does have a deep hatred of law-abiding citizens. Will people finally rise up? No, probably not, which is why there will be only more of this.
I594 was only 8yrs ago. There were massive rallies, protests in every major city in the state, massive non compliance. Since then, there has been a staggering march towards disarmament in WA year after year.

Some people are battle fatigued from losing ground steadily no matter what they do. Other people have come to the conclusion that the government is out of control and the crazies are in charge, so they are just going to do whatever they want no matter what Olympia says.

I fully understand that. I'm trying to figure out how the AWB will effect Form 1's (new ATF rule) and transfers into a personal trust of currently owned weapons which will be grandfathered in.
You will not be able to Form 1 a new SBR, the form will be rejected. You can place any regular arm into your trust currently, and if you were to file a form 1...do it in the trust name. BUT WAIT...

This is going to get blocked by any of 4 lawsuits moving forward against the rule. I have couple dozen personally and another 50 in the shop...not doing anything.

Just look at the last two years to see what people will roll over for.

Has anyone figured out yet just how quickly this could hit the governors desk?
This. Has anyone got a clue where 1240 is in the process and how much further it has to go before its signed into law? Ive scoured the states web sote and cant make heads or tails of how to predict this.

And reason I ask is, Im sure a lot of us myself included, have guns in the process of background/10day wait period. My understanding is its considered a transfer once the 10day wait is concluded. If you're one day away from the 10th day and this thing gets signed, you're boned.
