Having to click to "NEW" to mark forums read

Apparently you now have to click on the "NEW" link to get to mark forums read. Why was this done?

It seems you are making it harder to navigate the forums.

Not sure what your issue is as I see "Mark forum read" at the upper left wherever I go. If you are using "New posts" it is still there as well as at the top of the list on the right.

Did you switch devices? We haven't made and changes or updates in quite some time (several months).

No I have not, same old PC and web browser.. I will add this is the same problem on Firefox also.

This is the same on my laptop also, using the above said Firefox, latest version.

I only see watched forums, watched threads etc. No mark forums read unless, as I said, I click on the NEW link.

Sorry for the hassle, I stretched my browser to the right and the mark thread appeared. I must have had it scrunched up a tad too much.
