Does anyone have a good chart or know a website that has a good chart for estimating the shelf life of stored food? With and without Mylar bags and o2 absorbers.

    Thanks, Howard

Always ask the Mormons these questions. They've been doing this for about 150? years.

Go find a family with 10 kids and ask them.jk

Here's a link on expiration dates for 75 common food/household items. Some definite surprises here. I have a more comprehensive shelf life of foods list somewhere in my favorites. Will post it once I find it. 75 Surprising Expiration Dates - Yahoo! Shopping

    Thanks everyone.

Sailorman, my wife doesn't think the information/data/equations in the Emergency Essentials storage system to be accurate. I am not done trying their system, but I believe it to be inaccurate also. I could be wrong.
