So I bought a slightly used Remington 1911 R1 and swapped out the trigger, hammer, and grip safety with Wilson parts. This went fine until the thumb safety now needed two clicks to engage and the second one was very hard to flip up. Needless to say I called Remington and had a UPS airsaver mailed to me 2 days later. Even though installing aftermarket parts voids the warranty they were still able to fix it and had it back to me today! On a crappier note I installed some slim grip screws and bushings and as I was tightening down the first grip the top of the screw broke off leaving me with an unusable bushing and busted screw stuck in my frame. Calling brownells on Tuesday and hopefully they will ship me new one! Glad to see a company taking care of their customers! Plus the gun is quite nice as well!
