Has anyone else had to alter their carry method because of snug pants?

I let my own laundry get a bit behind keeping up with my son's dirty clothes these past few weeks. That kid can wear three outfits a day if you let him. Because of this I only had jeans left clean from before I started buying larger waists to facilitate IWB carry. Trying to fit my IWB holster into my pants felt like I was being cut in half. So today I had to rummage around the garage and pull out an old Don Hume belt slide holster and revert back to OWB carry for the day. Anyone else ever have an issue like this?

Nope. I'm a fat guy and buy pants accordingly.

My work dress is buisness casual.. I buy exclusively Dockers or Haggar slacks made with expandable waists.. As I carry exclusively IWB using Crossbreed holsters..these work exceptionally well.. As for more casual attire..I buy my jeans..shorts and so forth..at least 2" larger in the waist..to accommodate IWB carry.. My rule has always been "Dont carry what fits your wardrobe..choose your wardrobe for carry"...

I am having to replace some of my pants/shorts already.. Not due to carry, but due to getting bigger in the middle over the past year. :/

This is one of the reasons I go OWB all the time. I very seldom go IWB.

My usual wear an IWB MOB holster got so much old sweat on it I could no longer wear it, went to work at the gunshow mexican carry and wound up with a cross-draw paddle holster, since then I discovered Leather New & now I use both holsters off & on

I do have to wear a 36" waist pants due to my .45 IWB, otherwise, no change!

I went the other way. I used to go outside the waistband all the time. then I got a divorce, lost a bit of weight, and now I carry IWB with the same pants.
