I am ready to upgrade so here is a used, but super-clean HK AVR 630 integrated home theater receiver which originally listed at $1299 when it was introduced. Cosmetically this receiver is near perfect -included Factory universal programmable remote with LCD display and Zone 2 remote.

This receiver has 7 discrete channel amplification as well as pre-outs for every one of those channels, RS-232 interface, tons of connectors (no HDMI, but composite, component, and S video as well as optical and Co-ax digital audio in). Powerful high-current amp weighs in at 41lbs and is quite a performer. Extremely low noise floor results in no hiss and full-bandwidth rated power results in an amplifier that blows away anything with a comparable wattage rating.

Unlike most consumer AV receivers, this one does not compromise musicality in the sake of being a home theater receiver.

Feel free to check out a rave review from c-net here:

This receiver has a warm sound that compares more favorably to NAD and Denon rather than mass-market receivers like Sony & Pioneer HT. Features
