Harbor Freight Folder Recall

Not really into much of anything from Harbor..
A new knife isn't "mine" until it drinks a drop of my blood.. eccentric, I know. Not the ones in my modest collection, but the ones I use and carry as EDC's..

Well I was under my rig the other day scraping the grime off the tag on the tranny with my harbor freight folder when the lock failed and it scissored shut cutting a chunk off the tip of my middle finger. It was just then I realized I was under a 6000 # rig held up by 4 harbor freight jackstands.



Not really but a very plausible scenario don'tcha think?

Never trust a tiny hydraulic seal regardless of who makes the jack! Use stands! Slide any dismounted wheels under a frame member as well giving you as much protection as possible!

Harbor Freight knives, Dollar Tree steak, gas station tuna.

Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

I don't buy HF knives because you can get the same thing elsewhere for less. They are the 'throwaway' blades for use on things when you know you don't want to clean afterward. That, or donations to the TSA gods to keep them sated.
Dollar Tree Tuna and Gas Station Hot Dogs - you bet I buy that rubbish!
