I have been looking for a new carry gun smaller than my CZ or my 1911. I settled on the S&W Shield in 9mm, just finding it in 9mm and not the .40 was just getting troublesome. Just found one, not the best price at 399 but I can live with that ! Happy

I think 399 is about normal range. did you get one with or without safety.

I really like mine, pretty accurate too for a short barrel gun. And you don't have to worry about S&W quality. Of course I got mine when they were considerable more expensive, so I wouldn't complain if I were you. LOL

It has the safety, I am ok with that, all my other semi's have a safety. Did ask about it and they said they have not see the non safety yet.
