This is a sword thats a step above most of the stainless fake ones you see in the tourist section at a knife and sword shop. It has a carbon steel blade that is "rolled" (a step between folded and just a single layer) and shows a real acid-etched hamon (wavy) line. If you google and/or search on ebay you will find this blade sells for around $250 new minimum. The name for this model is "Hanwei Practical Plus Katana" and it's meant for cutting things, not just being displayed. I've done some of that and I think the trade price reflects its condition. I'm looking for an airgun in decent shape (prefer ruger airhawk elite/regular, blackhawk, crosman G1 xtreme, crosman optimus/phantom or trade off price of something better). I value the blade at right about $120 and the gun should be in the same shape. Willing to trade off the price of a decent little 10/22 also (prefer wood stock, blued barrel with a large clip if you've got it). PM if interested.
