I do not support or subscribe to AARP, but my Mo-in-Law does, and we receive her mail. Right on the cover of the AARP magazine this month was HANOI JANE, celebrated as one of the women of the century.

One more reason to remain distant of AARP?

WAYNO.

Absolutely! The AARP is, and always has been a Communist/Socialist front. They have duped seniors for decades into believing that they support them. In reality, there are better, more conservative organizations (AMAC) that serve seniors far better.

I can assist her with those arrangements!

This old cow conspired with the enemy and literally threatened my life, as well as thousands of other Veterans lives with her treasonous activities/actions.

She may (and likely will) go to hell... I will go to the Veteran's Administration. :p

Talk to some of the guys who did time in the Hanoi POW prisons. I have the honor of knowing a man who was shot down over North Vietnam and did 5 years in the Hanoi Hilton. Her actions contributed to the abuse these prisoners faced on a daily basis. You should hear what they think about her, there is not enough bubblegums on this server to cover that.

They would also just as soon nuked North Vietnam off the face of the earth. None of this going back and making peace with it for them.

I like the Communists... then again, I like cholera! The predatory People's Republic of North Vietnam (along with the Pol Pot Regime of Cambodia) killed more people than Hitler's Nazi Party.

Why don't we send "Hanoi Jane" a one-way ticket to North Korea, with the provision that she never return to the United States (or any of it's possessions) again.

How is a jogging Jane Fonda like a pygmy on the hunt? (Hint: The Pygmy is a cunning runt).

I did enjoy some scenes of her in the movie Barbarella.

First, she was placed into a death chamber and attacked by man eating parakeets, who began to feast on her:

.

Then she was inserted naked into a monstrous torture machine to suffer a slow agonizing death:

.

Overall, the movie was very lame, though. All of the many guns that they gave her in the movie were quite ridiculous in nature. Plus she never wore enough clothes to be able to conceal any of them.

Barbarella was stupid then and it looks even worse today. Sorry, I never did care for Jane Fonda... ever.

I just watched the trailer for Barbarella and it was 'camp' at best. I prefer to call it schlock. :p

She was complicit in the murder of my superiors. I will NEVER forgive her treachery against my fellow service men.

I pray to God that I do not meet her. As a serviceman, I would feel compelled to carry out an act of justice against this traitorous female dog.

Enough said.

Well, I thought that the man-eating parakeets devouring her was a good scene. Sadly, she was rescued before they could finish their meal. :D

I saw the movie in the theatre as a 14 yr old boy. 1968 was before they had any movie rating system, and anyone was allowed to see the movie. I had read a report that the movie was based on a French Sci-Fi comic strip. Since I enjoyed comics and Sci-Fi so much, I just had to see the movie. I was a rabid Star Trek fan at the time. I had no idea at all, though, that a "French" comic strip or movie would have such different content standards for adult content.

But as a young boy, I really thought that the opening scene where she strips herself totally nude in a simulated weightlessness scene was pretty cool. My eyeballs really popped out.

Not great in the morality department. (When was she ever moral)?

Well, she was married to French movie director Roger Vadim at the time, who was 10 years her senior. The French have a much different viewpoint on morality. He directed this movie, so she sort of decided to star in it to help him with the Barbarella production.

She really was not making good decisions back in the 1960's in picking movies. She was offered the lead role in both Rosemary's Baby and Bonnie and Clyde, and turned them both down.
