I hate hanging drywall. I'm saying $500.00 to hang it in a room in my shop.
Having someone tape texture and finish it for $500.00
I use a makita and 1 screw loaded one by one. Its the sheeets. Young mans work!

These wall/ceiling lifts help a lot, especially if you're working alone.

Hanging the drywall is the easy part, mudding, taping, and sanding sucks canal water!

Bought one from Harbor Frieght... (almost) the best $100 (with super coupon) I ever spent!

These help if you don't have a drywall screwgun and are just using a cordless. Keeps you from breaking the paper and compromising the sheets ability to stay put. ;)

I use the exact same thing, perfectly counter-sunk every time!

Sheetrock can be easy or hard, it mostly depends on how good the framing is and the quality of the tools.
I've hung thousands of sheets and towards the end of my remodeling career, I just hired it out to the pro's.
They did it for less and far quicker.
I would go find a drywall supplier and ask around for a reliable crew that works on weekends for cash.
English will more then likely be their second language, but they'll get it done, just have the material on hand.

I know a finish guy that is an expert. He lays the mud on so good theres hardly any sanding. Because of that he's very very reasonable. Finish only, no hanging.

Lol my friend does dry wall for a living.
Mmmmm
Don't F#$@& with him can hold a sheet of drywall above his head and screw it in .
Forget about it.
Screw and tape and prep a room for paint in no time.
No joke this is real work

I was a sheetrocker back about 40 years ago. No power tools at all, just measurin', cuttin', liftin' and hammerin'.
A young man's job, that's for sure.
