Haenel Mod. III D.R.P. air rifle. 4.5mm (.177 cal). Antique, made in Germany. Shoots good, averages around 550 feet per second over the chronograph. Has shallow pitting and significant loss of bluing, small crack in stock visible in photo.

It does appear to be leather. There's some uneven areas on the seal, some of the seal sits below the surface of the metal, so I'm not sure how well it's doing its job! Here's a closer view.
