Really dated hacks, WEP, Wifi has been hacked for years and the cell phone hack "man in the middle has also been hacked for years. I guess if you mount the computer on to a Radio Controlled toy plane you can get some new headline.

Pretty much. Make sure whoever you're visiting uses strong encryption on the connection and use a decent password that can provide some resistance to a dictionary attack. At most, they'll see where you're going but nothing else. There's also steps you can take to deal with this.

If there is something you don't want everyone to see, make sure it is encrypted.
