maybe throwing something smaller at them much faster would work better? say 55 grains of copper and lead at a speed well north of 1500 fps?

Yep, I have a 7.62 (X25)) that makes plenty of noise, and the little 124gn pill it spits out will advance at 1775fps..would take care of the problem quickly. Wonder if those fools know their dog can contract mange from those mangy coydogs.

All flavors of 7.62 work.
The soft points do some extreme damage especially in the x51 and 54 flavors the other two are very respectable
