Gunsmith to Mill XD slide and install reflex sight

I have an Burris Fast-Fire sight but want to leave the night sights in place as backup,
like S&W CORE and Glock MOS do. Any recommendations for a smith competent for

Got my gun back from Tim Copeland, looks great!

My FF2 has some issues as a pistol-sight, see photo #4...
the standard night-sights JUST allow access to the ill-placed
ADJUSTMENT LOCK-SCREWS; some lower height sights allow
using "Suppressor Sights" incase a laser failure on the Reflex
sight BUT with the FF2 such sight BLOCK those important
lock-screws to adjust aim.

The factory setting are exact for windage, as verified with a
barrel laser I have. Moving your head around shows the aiming
dot and impact dot from the barrel laser follow each other.

Trying to get drop data on a 9mm from muzzle to 50 feet is almost
impossible.... with some trial putting the impact-dot on top of the
aiming dot made it accurate at 50 feet.

Emailing Springfield about this: They have no plans to compete with
S&W CORE or Glock MOS guns and bring out their own optics-ready
gun;

The next was holster issues; as photo #5 shows my N82 IWB holster
would not let the XD-sub seat with the FF2 attached; I got a Dermal tool
and cut it to fit, although I might open it up a little more as seen in photo
# 7. Had to remove the 4th rivet using a small cut in the back to pull it thru.
N8-Squared did not respond to an email about them creating an optics-ready
holster or modifying mine.

Photo #9 shows the view thru the optics; nice BUT be aware your muscle
memory from years for 3-dot sight shooting will not work with the new
Reflex sight and you must use your distance glasses to see that dot; my
tri-focals show a distorted blob from astigmatism.

Follow up report:
1) sight really stays zeroed, at least my $200+ FF2 does.
2) my Nate-Squared pro holster works great once modified;
HOWEVER the IWB holster allows the sight to Hook on
the belt/waist-band and may hinder drawing!
3) If I get the sight on my duty gun that holster will still fit
due to the Sub-compact being so closely sized to the duty gun.
4) I have read several reviews of cheaper sights and their
auto-brightness systems just shut the laser off in total
darkness, not my FF2 HOWEVER: in such darkness it's
impossible to find the sight-window; the black
mil-grade plastic is lost in the darkness BUT, BUT
in such lighting it's impossible to ID the target so
you can't shoot anyway ; without a flashlight
that is.
5) my Uncle-Mike's #27 duty holster simply doesn't reach
that high on the slide so the FF2 or similar sight doesn't hit.

I've been taking extra time tending to an ill family member and
will have to report on the sight's handling qualities later; it does
require practice as the sight picture is located different so your
muscle memory will have to be re-learned some.
