Gunsmith in Southern Oregon to Ream Chamber

I have a sporterized '03 Springfield in 35 Whelen to which I wish to give the "Ackley Improved" treatment. Anyone know a gunsmith in Josephine or Jackson County that will do this? I can rent the reamer.

It would also be nice, assuming it makes financial sense to do so, to have my dies reamed as well.

You would be better off to buy new dies. The chambering reamer is not the right size for dies. Ammo specs are very different than chamber specs.

Thanks, everyone. I'm going to go with regular 35 whelen this year. It's my west-side elk rifle, and it's getting a bit late.
