It's been a rollercoaster trip to Indianapolis for Dixon, a New Zealander who turned the fastest qualifying laps since 1996 to land on the pole. But that same night, Dixon was waiting in a drive-thru line at a nearby Taco Bell with three-time winner Dario Franchitti when he was held up at gunpoint.

Mixed emotions for Dixon after armed robbery

Dixon has been advised not to discuss details of the Sunday night robbery, in which police arrested two boys, ages 15 and 14, a short time later. Tony Kannan, a teammate of Dixon's with Chip Ganassi Racing, told reporters that Dixon and Franchitti had their windows down when they were approached at gunpoint.

"They held a gun at Dixon's head and asked him for his wallet and his phone," Kanaan said.

The society the liberals have created for us. Young teen boys pulling armed robbery. Can be sure this was not their first and will not be their last. Hands will be slapped, "parents" or parent will make excuses why it's all Trumps fault. Kids will if they survive a few more years finally hit the big time by shooting someone. Then all will point at someone else who was to blame for the little darlings who were just getting their lives back in order and off to college and all.
