There are better 1911's out there but I would say Dan Wesson offers the best bang for the buck in the 1911 world. Great choice! We going to see some photos soon with a can hanging off the end of it?

I believe the DW 1911's are by far the best in their price range. The Springfield in the picture isn't even close in quality.

Seems to work just great! I'm glad my neighbors like me as it's a little louder than my normal things I shoot. I actually bought it for my 12 year old son who loves to shoot my 500 but I told him he needs to starts a little smaller. Yes, he does shoot full power 500 S&W Mag loads too, including the 700gr!

My dad always enjoyed shooting his old Mossberg 195-A when he was younger. A few years back I tracked one down for him. Interesting gun. The bolt action and selectable choke are pretty cool. Nice score!

I finally received my Green Dot Trijicon MRO. It was shipped via FedEx on December 27th and finally delivered today. I ordered a Tango Down cover and quick release mount from American Defense Manufacturing.

You will like the MRO. I have two of the Green version now. They seem to fly under the radar a bit. I really hadn't seen or heard much about them but I am glad I took a chance.

If you are ever in the market for another quick release mount for the MRO, check out the Scalarworks mount. Really slick mount.
