Freedom munitions has 9mm and several other handgun calibers ammo on sale currently too. $10 for 50 rounds of remanufactured 115g 9mm and 100g .380.

Picked up a wee little stash for a few trips to the range.

Is their stuff reliable for being remanufactured?
I think so. I've bought both their brand new ammo and reman and honestly the reman looks like new ammo. I haven't had any issues with over 500 rds 9mm, 200 rds .380, 200 rds .40, 100+ rds .223 and 100+ 300blk out.

Probably 2/3 reman 1/3 new.

For any TargetSports ammo+ members, the sale has been extended. Pretty good deals still available on new target loads.
Not a shill for them as much as trying to save y'all a few cents. Have a feeling as November approaches we'll see some price increases.

The 11.5 arrived and will work perfectly with the muzzle brake (and jailed suppressor)... looks like I have a spare 12.5 barrel now ( I wish the 12.5 was mid-length gas).
Like they say... "Measure twice, Order Once. Then change your mind 5 times and reorder with your fingers crossed."
Also scooped up a single-stage trigger, and a silly little tool that is supposed to help keep me from cussing.

Today the delivery "enabler" driver dropped off a box of parts.

Mocked up all the pieces (using the 11.5)... I don't know if I like it yet. I might end up modifying the top rail riser for a backup iron front sight, or get a different one, or just leave it off.

Will try to go visit an AEM5 suppressor, in the Gun Gulag, to test it for clearance. The suppressor should tuck approximately a half inch under the hand-guard. I have a lot of time to get the upper squared away... With the current estimates, both of the AEM5 suppressors won't be released until next year.

Why would anyone want such an outdated setup?....Well, to match the other two.

I got an email from Vertx advertising some new products, one of which is the Firebase PCC bandolier. It's basically a 4-mag carrier that can be used as a low profile chest rig, under-arm mag pouch, or attached via hook n loop to the interior of bags or packs. Seemed like an interesting concept, so I started scouting around for one.

A retailer on eBay was selling his new in packaging for $46 with free shipping. Then realized I had an unused balance of sitting in my account from a return I did ages ago, so in the end my out of pocket cost was $0.12. It was a nice way to end the day! Hopefully it's a decent product.

Ordered a case of 5000 CCI Standard Velocity 22lr to resupply my stash. The kids have been slowly whittling away at it. They already went through the cheap Federal White box stuff that I picked up years back at $25/1600 rounds. This CCI is $.06 each shipped. The deal for them was posted in our "Great Deals" section from a company I haven't heard of but gets good reviews.

They got me…..
KSA mini mosin M38
Over heard someone say they only made 500 but I haven't looked yet. Some are waiting for the mini Springfield 1903A3.. but I couldn't wait

Been a minute since I've sat down with y'all. Got swept away with life and initially Zelda TOTK…. Haaaa. It even consumed my shooting and loading time. SMH

Looking through threads for convos on these but not seeing a lot….

Reached a goal and chose to go with 44 mag Henry Mod X… had to order it because I haven't been able to run across one in stock. This Gold star dealer (Or however Henry rates them) said it's likely few months out. Hopefully it's worth the wait.

I decided a year or so ago to switch gears and avoid this AWB nonsense in Washington and go with Lever/Pump/Revolver or bolt this time around. Was either this or Beretta A300 ultima patrol. Still waiting for KSG410 and on a tall fence for the right revolver.

First lever action…. First .44….. probably wouldn't have chosen this cartridge if I didn't reload. Ballistics look comparable.357 lever rifles… not super outstanding if I'm being modest In what I want to do with it. But figured I'd probably regret not getting the.44 if I plan on matching a sweet double action revolver down the road.

Selling points besides the tacticoolness and after market tacticoolness parts….
- medium sized loop
- threaded barrel
- tube & side gate… guess a first for Henry??

I got the Henry Big Boy Model X in 44mag rather recently, love the feel of it, already out on a low profile picatinny rail on it from Skinner...

It's been on my list for a bit, the owner of my favorite FFL found one and ordered it for me. Surprised me with it one day...

Thank you for feedback…
Skinner…
Their website doesn't look easy to find but I'm often simple minded….
Would you happen to have a part number?
Did you find low pro rings from them too..?

Went to the local gun show today....
Sold my Stoeger Condor shotgun....and bought a Ithaca Model 37.
The 37 is well worn , but well maintained...it is in 12 gauge with a cut down barrel of 20 inches.
Made in 1970...wish it was a slam fire model...but....the deal is done and I am happy with it....:D

Are you sure it won't slam fire? I thought it was '87 when they quit doing that.
