Birthday gifts to myself :) G27 gen 3 and 2 PSA Daggers. Think I’ll order another sniper green and then a compact black/FDE complete pistol next month

Been a minute since I’ve sat down with y’all. Got swept away with life and initially Zelda TOTK…. Haaaa. It even consumed my shooting and loading time. SMH

Looking through threads for convos on these but not seeing a lot….

Reached a goal and chose to go with 44 mag Henry Mod X… had to order it because I haven’t been able to run across one in stock. This Gold star dealer (Or however Henry rates them) said it’s likely few months out. Hopefully it’s worth the wait.

I decided a year or so ago to switch gears and avoid this AWB nonsense in Washington and go with Lever/Pump/Revolver or bolt this time around. Was either this or Beretta A300 ultima patrol. Still waiting for KSG410 and on a tall fence for the right revolver.

First lever action…. First .44….. probably wouldn’t have chosen this cartridge if I didn’t reload. Ballistics look comparable.357 lever rifles… not super outstanding if I’m being modest In what I want to do with it. But figured I’d probably regret not getting the.44 if I plan on matching a sweet double action revolver down the road.

Selling points besides the tacticoolness and after market tacticoolness parts….
- medium sized loop
- threaded barrel
- tube & side gate… guess a first for Henry??

I owned the 44, 45 70, and 357/38....sold them all! I'm was very disappointed with Henry
Model X?
What would you say to look for? First lever action so I have no expectation set point yet. I’d imagine classic or older manufacturing processes would have mattered compared to today’s stuff

I traded 38 Special and 32 H&R ammo for a Ruger Blackhawk .357. A dealer friend at the gun shows' wife is a cowboy action shooter and shoots my ammo so for this order we did the trade.

Is this required for flame throwers?
I don't believe so but my shop often gets lower prices or free shipping and such.

I was informed because it is already a steep discount, he got it for the sale price and not anything less but got free shipping...

So I will be paying a tad more but since my favorite shop is a sporting goods and electronics store, it looks on the CC more like I'm buying expensive electronics and not firearms if your ever concerned about being tracked for purchases...

Makes sense, thanks!

TargetSportsUSA.com is having "Ammo+ Day" since it's 9/19 (9x19) and "ammo+" is their $95 a year membership. They got me to cave with some of the prices and I bought a ton of ammo I've been wanting to buy. More 38 special, 357 mag, and 12 GA #8 shot and 00 buck. Don't think I'll need any more ammo anytime soon which is good because I spent all my money. Hah!
